Marilyn Shaw is a woman of faith who’s determined to make an impact. She is a Best-Selling Author, Speaker, Podcast Host and Founder of LIVE + SHARE.

Marilyn’s business background started in the beauty care industry, where she has more than 10 years of experience. After college, she naturally transitioned her career to become a public relations and marketing professional. In 2017, she started Live and Share Agency, a PR and experiential marketing firm that specializes in helping brands maximize exposure by advising on and planning events, gaining media attention and creating digital content. She has worked with countless entrepreneurs and planned the largest natural beauty expo in Florida, Fabulously Unique Natural Hair and Beauty Expo.

Marilyn is also the Public Relations and Communications Coordinator for the esteemed higher education institution in Florida, St. Petersburg College.

In 2020, Marilyn fused her expertise in business marketing and public relations and passion for faith to pivot Live and Share Agency. She’s skillfully transitioned the business to become

a lifestyle platform that provides faith-based solutions for today’s leaders to live a thriving life personally, professionally and spiritually.

Marilyn is the host of The Live and Share Podcast, where she has honest conversations with resilient individuals on how to defy the odds and win at life. 

In 2019, she became a best-selling author as a contributor of the faith-based anthology “It’s Possible: A Dreamer’s Manifesto to Overcome Opposition.” She candidly shares her story of surviving a mental breakdown and how her faith and therapy became tools of healing.

She’s a proud alumnus of St. Petersburg College with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in Marketing.

Marilyn is a community advocate who has served as the Communications Chairperson on the executive board for the NAACP St. Petersburg branch. In 2015, she was honored with the award of Ms. Diamond by Sheila Ashley, the founder of Women Who Wail Avail International Conference.

When she’s not working hard, you can find her spending time with her husband of 12 years, family and friends.
